Kia Sportage 1999 warning indicator of engine is showing. what problem is likely attributed to this? what is the urgency?

While driving my Kia Sportage, there is a small of gas (stove gas) that comes through the vents. It is not a steady smell but is strong enough that I have to turn off the heat. What do you think the problem could be.

my wifes 2008  kia sportage started to lock the doors automatically   after 35 sec or so  after opening  the doors    how  or what do i have to do to stop this    i checked the  remote  and the  remote buttons are not stuck 

Problem is in gear box, most likely there is air in the system and it needs bleeding.

My Kia Sportage 2001 will stall while driving.  No lights ever come on.  Can't start the car after.  Sometimes will restart after 20 minutes.  Already changed the fuel injector filter. Thoughts?

same prob here. you need to take off the spring clips on the fuel line that goes to the fuel rail and replace with hoes clamps. thats where the smell is coming from

It may be the Crank shaft position sensor. That happened with our 1998 Sportage. Around $70.00 to fix depending on the auto parts store you use. Also cost may vary being that yours is a newer model. this is only a suggestion. Almost any auto parts
