My KIA Sedona 2007 van all of a sudden had a flat tire when I was going five miles an hour up my street. I pulled over, went to change the tire (looked as if it had been slashed) and realized the left lower control arm was severed completely in half. Kia service agent says I must have hit a pothole. This car is not even 4 years old yet and of course my warranty will not cover it because they said I must have hit a pothole. Very dangerous to myself and my children. Imagine if I had been doing more than five miles an hour? If this was from hitting a pothole, everyone would have to replace their lower control arm daily. This is a defective part and Kia is mishandling this situation. Why would I want to drive a kia any longer when the lower control arm snapped in half in less than four years? Dangerous safety situation that they do not want to handle and will not replace. Waste of money.
