Purchased 2009 Kia Sorento new. At 65,000km the engin blew out the rear seal and lost all the oil. The dealer has pulled the engin down to the point where the all the drive belts have been removed, The dealer has found no reason why the seal was forced out but does admit the oil pressure when running is higher than normal. While the vehicle was in the shop thye also found the transfer case bearing was vibrating and changed it. Has anyone else had the rear seal blow out and if so what was the reason and subsequent fix?
