I have a 2010 jeep patriot. When I get around 50-60 mph it causes the steering wheel to shake violently. what work do I need done to fix this?

2008 Jeep Patriot with less than 31000 hiway miles (no off road) and I must replace the lower control arms & ball joints, what a shock and a crock!!

2010 jeep patriot tires wearing with 31450km and then again on a new set of tires at another 34,950km. had wheel alignment done all is ok. I have been rotating tires, guess not enough. Has anyone had this happen/ let me know thanks Shelly
