The frame, and sub frame are rotted out on my 2000 INFINIT QX4, the car is dangerous to drive since the component arm is not supported any longer.The car was inspected by the dealer where we bought it, they replaced the strut housing which was on recall back in June 2011 that's when my wife took it in after complaining of the car shaking while driving, and never said anything about the rust inhabiting the chassis frame and sub frame. INFINITI offered a discount if I buy a new car depending on the car that I'm willing to purchase, but not to contribute in the replacement of the sub frame and corroded members.Nissan should recall all their vehicles that are inhibited with rust, instead they recalled only the strut housing issue.Safety issues of this rust problem are serious and extremely dangerous for anyone to drive the vehicle under these conditions, until a life is lost that's when NISSAN or INFINITI would probably do something about it.
The best thing is to Report these issues to the BBB Better Business Bureau, and let them investigate this matter.
