The front end of our 2010 Hyundai Elantra hit the side of a pick up truck. Our whole front end was smashed in up to as far as the windshield but neither of the front airbags deployed. The Hyundai is a write off. Thank goodness the seat belts saved lives because airbags certainly didnt. Hyundai Canada head office does not want to take any responsibility saying that when soft tissue of the car is only damaged, the air bags will not deploy. This is not soft tissue, the whole front end is done. Does anyone else have safety concerns re Hyundai airbags?
