I own a 2003 pilot and have been very pleased with its overall performance. However, there is one thing i am troubled with and this is probably true in some way with other manufacturers. My front powered drivers seat had an adjuster that raises the level on the front of the seat break. This thick plastic part is threaded (screw drive) at the bottom frame and through screwed to a connector at the bottom of the seat frame on the other end. While driving I need to be careful when accelerating because my seat will rock back, it acts as a stabilizer as well.  It is a removable individual part yet cannot be purchased individually. My guess is this part would probably sell for between $35.00 to $50.00 (dealership). I was informed by my local dealership that i must purchase the complete bottom seat assembly for $1,100.00 and that is not installed. To me, this is highway robbery. I have checked salvage yards on line and they to will only sell the complete seat of which is even more than needed. My only recourse is to take it to a machinist and have them manufacture one from aluminum which is what this should have been made from in the first place. Come on Honda, this is wrong and you know it. I have three Honda's in my driveway and all three of my children drive Honda's as well. With whats going on in this world today, as simple as this incident is, I'm thinking from now on I will purchase whats best for me and my country and buy American and keep the money here!
