If there is a pro-transmission expert that has dealt with a 2003 ford focus zx3 manual transmission that's had a problem with the revers gear not engaging while vehicle turned on, please help me what to do. My transmission had ceased engaging all 5 and revers gears on new years night. I left my car at the house I was at, two days later I returned to pick it up and the gears engaged but where very hard. I flushed the transmission and added new full synthetic manual transmission fluid. Now my revers will not engage while turned on but when it is off it does engage and reverses normally with no noise. What can it be?
