Ford Escape Questions

This is the 2nd Ford vehicle (last was 1997 Mercury Sable) I have had serious door latch problems with. My 2005 Escape rear door opened itself while driving along & now I cannot make the door latch closed reliably.

I have a 2010 Ford Escape. My lights on dashboard go in and out & somtimes off. Lately, my radio buttons in steering wheel don't work correctly & my a/c power won't go on. It also hesitates when I push the gas. All these are very dangerous
