Ford Contour Questions

95 Contour automatic transaxle will not down shift. Have to use brakes to get it out of Overdrive & 3rd range of Drive.

2000 ford Contour: The Backup lights and the tag lights have stopped working . I have checked the fuses and changed the bulbs but still no light. any ideas what else could be wrong.

Mine was stolen from my car too.... finally found one on ebay and it was pretty cheap.... Good Luck

Dealing with this exact problem on my son's car.  Fuses, light bulbs & even reverse light bulb sockets were replaced today.  I guess I'll try the wiring tomorrow, if I can find a diagram of that! Good luck!

can you by pass the radiator fan and hook it direct if not working. trying to find out so i don't have to replace the whole unit. Or is there a fuse or a fan relay that I am missing

my 98 contour i can go 60 mph and the motor will jump what is the problem

1995 contour - radio suddenlt displays 'tele' and stops working - shut off engine and restart and it works ok for awhile then goes by itself to 'tele' and quits working. Fix? suggestions?

i have a 99 ford contour that doesnt turn on the ligths on the passeger side, turn ligths an brake ligths work, but the front and rear light doesnt i checked fusses and connections and everything its ok. any idea thanks

Wow this whole site can be used to create a lawsuit against Ford. Better take some action Ford people. Unless you like telling every customer there is no solution at this time. People put their good hard earned money into trusting these vehicles.<
