Over the weekend my 2004 Pacifica had engine light on, so ...

Over the weekend my 2004 Pacifica had engine light on, so I left at service station. He informed me that I needed new stuts. Called today and I have a hole right through the hood on passenger side of car. Not sure what happen but I am not happy. I had no hole in hood when I left car, now I have a hole in my hood. What do you think?
