Chrysler New Yorker Questions

we have a 1995 chrysler new yorker Lhs and the electrical is bad ...

we have a 1995 chrysler new yorker Lhs and the electrical is bad it wont start the transmission wont shift out of low gear the vaccum hose came off but got a piece of hose for vaccum lines and it still wont shift it was running around 4500 rpms now it dont run that high but higher than it should and it acts like it wants to shift we put it in the shop to have a tie rod put on and thats when the electrical went bad so we put it in a different shop cause the electrical was going bad so we put it in the shop for that and the mechanicas charged us 86.00 dollars for the electrical work the done they cut a black wire with a white stripe and the cut a lime green wire also then they took a red wire that they had and hooked the black and white wire and the red wire togther and ran it toward the bottom of the car in to a piece with a little whole in it and it worked ok for awhile and then it started happening again and the the transmission started messing up on it not shifting first time that this has ever happened to it. we have had it a year bought it may 2010 and all of the sudden this happens and sometimes the car starts acting like it is going to start and u have to turn the car on but u dont have to turn the key all the way over for it to start just like not even half way and it will start but in order to make it stop when u go to shut the car off it keeps acting like it is trying to start u have to pull the fuse for the starter and keep it out and put it back in when u want to start it well that quit for awhile and we could drive it for like maybe a month around town thats it cant find out anywhere to take to get it looked at for the electrical and then one day i was driving it and it just quit running and would not starrt back up i know it electrical so i was tryin to fin d something wrong with it trying to save us a lil bit of money. i had a friend try to jump start it in case the battery went bad and it tried and acted like it wanted to start when i turned the key over but it would not start the airconditioner and heater comes on the only electrical thing on the whole car and the only thing on the inside of the car that came on and the stereo use to work and it dont work anymore so now it acts like it is not getting any fuel but there is gas in the gas tank its not on E its got gas in it the gas gauage works good on it and it acts like it is not getting any fuel pressure wat could be wrong with our new yorker could somebody kinda explain a lil bit to i dont know alot about cars and when it comes to stuff like that iam dumb founded need a lil help and could use a few tips on it. need to know about the electrical / and wiring on it and about the transmission i would appreciate if somebody could tell me anything that might help us out with our car, oh forgot when we bought it it had a lil over 125,000 miles on it and we have only put like over 1,500 to 2,000 miles on it maybe that just and estimated figure in a year. would like to find out wat i could do to fix it and alil explaining fromm somebody that knows wat we could do cause it is a to nice of a car to just get reid of iut or even junk it cant do that to our car i feeel in love with it the first time i seen it and i had to have cause i like big cars and  i had to have this one i know its old but it has been and was taking good care of an older gentleman had it before i bought and he past aaway it is a very nice cxare makes a good family car for we have a 2 year old and there is alot of room in it we love the car and want to get it fixed somebody explain the stuff thgat is wrong with it to me and help me out and give me tips and explain it to me please and thatnk yoyu michael and stacy hughes... it would be greatly appreciated.. thanks once again
