As to the gas tank problems with the 2007 Aspen(I own one), The baffles in the fuel tank are what is causing the gasoline to eject after you are filling.  I has this happen many, many, times over a 6-7 month period.  it did not matter what gas station, pump etc.  It is not you it is the tank.  Chrysler had to replace the tank.  It took me forcing the service writer to take the mechanic to the station and reproduce the problem, by actually putting gas in the cart --0- then and only then did they believe me.  They kept saying we tested it and can't find a problem.  Ensure they take it and try to place gas in it, of course you will have to pay for the gas.  They stated the dodge durango from those years has the same issue
