I have a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country with about 50k miles. I was forced to put dealership original type tires on the car last year because it is a weird size and no one else carries it. One tire was undrivable and I could not wait 3 days for another company to order a better product. Now I am having cupping and the manufacturer - Yokohama - says they will not replace my tires under the warranty. They say it is due to bad tire pressure or bad alignment. The dealership, who I go to regularly for rotations agrees there is not an alighnment issue and my tire pressure was only 2 pounds off but they are siding with the manufacturer. I might also add that they are only calling the tire manufacturer on my behalf after they told me to deal with the manufacturer directly and the manufacturer sent me back to them. I am not pleased with anything Chrysler to say the least.
Has anyone else had cupping issues with their mini-van and if so what was the outcome? I've read online that it is usually cheap tires - which I believe all Chrysler original parts are - or suspension issues.
