As soon as I start the car now the service light stays ...

As soon as I start the car now the service light stays on, but before I started the car in the past the service light wouldn't go on until I shited the car in to reverse , this all started after I got my breaks done last fall.
Any help would be great thanks in advance

Have them check the bushings. They may have spurs in it.
