My 2007 Chevy Impala seems to be 'hesitating' to take off when i stop at a stop sign or back out of the drive way or take off from anywhere. I push on the gas then the car lunges and sometimes even hard enough to squeal the tires. I have reported this to my local GM dealer and had them hook it up to the 'computer' but it supposedly showed nothing. They kept it overnight and tried driving it in the morning but said it did not do it for them...?? So they cleaned something to do with the fueil filter system and then the car seemed to idle really high; i could literally idel down the street without ever pressing on the gas at a pretty good clip. NOW....in the last few day (3 times) my car has made this vibrating and shaking sensation along with the hesitation on take-off and then lunges again and squeals the tires. Sometimes its not hard enough to squeal the tires but it still does the hesitation and the lunging. Its very annoying. I feel the dealer is merely stalling me off until my warranty runs out. I'm at 85,500 miles now. I was also involved in an accident in april of this year and was hit from the front end while sitting still and my foot on the brake. My car did not start doing this until after the wreck and I have informed the dealership of this. They did the body work on the car and were supposed to check this out again before releasing the car but I am not sure they did. This car had a leaky head gasket at 46k which was repaired under warranty. It makes a noise sometimes in the steering. The tire pressure sensors seem to always be wrong . I bought this car to last me but it doesnt look like its going to. I want this fixed and fixed right. Im sick of having this problem and everytime i call GM about it I get the run around and treated like Im a nuisance instead of a buying customer. The dealership is Ron Ward Chevrolet in Herrin, Illinois . I intend on caling them AGAIN tomorrow to get the car back in to be check and im going to throw a fit too; I'm not paying for a diagnostic when they 've had the car 3 times for this. I think the car has a transmission problem and the just dont want to fix it until it finally blows up after warranty. Any ideas or comments? I need help . I am very disgusted with Chevrolet right now. I would consider another Impala but unless this is resolve I will consider a Toyota.
