2008 STS 3.6 DI. 6 speed auto.
Check engine and engine power reduced illuminated. Max RPM 2000, max speed 50mph; for the next five or so miles. then OK, except max rpm 4000 while driving - otherwise same problem. At times - when putting slight load on eng., while in high gear low RPM, seeems as if i hear valve knocking..? Although once i did refuel with high octane; 98. After that it all began...!

Throttle stuck and car kept going! I turned off the ignition and started it again when light changed and limped it home. I seems the throttle will not return to idle.
