Hi, just took my 06 SRX same problem whining noise when I drive, needs new rack and pinion, plus front hub, plus steering module 2700 later, last cadillac or GM for me. Back to Lexus dumb decision to give GM a try. So much for made in America, this car has 58000 mile.

when on other than very smooth road loud clunks and noise from rear suspension. Checked spare tire and made sure it was good and tight. I had a 2004 srx and never had this problem. Car only has 15,000 mileson it. Just bought it several months ago.
