After driving for about 20 minutes, an electrical glitch causes the
speedometer to fluctuate and, when the indicated speed is close to the
actual speed, the glitch causes the trans to shift to neutral. The
trans goes right back to drive, and the glitch will stop after awhile.
Affects instrument panel and cruise control.

Check the coil packs. One or more of them could have failed.

My 1995 Cadillac El Dorado with North Star Engine idles rough even after changing
plugs. I only get 11 mpg driving in town?  What could be the problem? I only have 133K miles.

I recently had a right front axle and sway bar replaced on my 2000 Eldo etc. Car drives fine but as I was driving it today the power cut out for a few seconds and the steering got very stiff... then back to normal... TCS 1287 code appeared ... st

Security system is intermitant. If it does not work, I have to use the key to unlock the door...and than turn on the ignition switch... the horn blows and  lights flash AND the motor runs until I press the key button into the open position twice
