I had the exact same problem with my 2004 DTS several times ...

I had the exact same problem with my 2004 DTS several times while under warranty and the service writer said there was no fix . I told several friends that if I was  involved in  an accident with this vehicle during rain  to let my family know . I had the writer put the information in my file.

2008 DTS problems. alarm goes off at night, hood open light on, hood closed, remote start sometimes wont work. Could it be the hood open switch causing this?
