I have a 1995 Cadillac Eldo and have recently replaced Shift solenoids, fuel injection Pressure regulator, ignition control module and Throttle valve assembly..

Sometimes the transmission will have difficulty shifting to 2nd  gear.  Also, on
the freeway If Igo over 60mph the RPM needle goes way up and the engine whines.

What could be the problem?

1993 Eldorado accelerates suddenly with NO Cruise control installed and idle control motor disconnected.  When starting vehicle, it suddenly jumps to 3500-4000 rpm with throttle plate completely closed.

y does my cadaillic go forward in all gears?
