The 2000 Roadster has many problems. The differential fell down and then the problems continued. While the car was parked in front of the house in the midddle of the night, the passenger side seat caught on fire. The other electrical problems mentioned in the discussion forum has developed as well. BMW will not do a thing about any of these problems no matter the mileage nor when bought. The car is an absolute lemon on the market and very dangerous. Great customer service BMW...Keep up the good work..you people stink.

Was there a rear suspension material/structure problem for the rear suspension of this 2000 "M" Roadster as well as any electrical problems with the convertible top and door and trunk locks?

1999 M roadster Subframe is broken and the rear end is sitting in the exhaust. Welds in the trunk are broken loose 134,000 miles daily driver. Looking for recalls or law suits. Sounds like BMW dosen't care if any one is killed when this happens
