Took my 535i to the dealership to replace the left fuel unit,...
Took my 535i to the dealership to replace the left fuel unit, to my amzement they said only the right HPFP is a recall. I was leaking fuel all the way there from a crack in the fuel stem of the left fuel unit. They said " sorry but it is not covered as a recall" but for $800 they would change it. I assumed a cracked housing unit would bring up some concern...nope. So I had to drive off leaking fuel on the freeway.
