I was involved in a serious accident on 4/17/2012.  On the impact of the collision my seatbelt malfucntioned and released causing me to be thrown from the drivers chair when I was hit by the airbags this slammed me into the seat, I was unconscious and taken to the ER - I have major spinal injuries and I am now under the care of a neurosurgeon.  The belt did not come unbuckled but released from the overshoulder strap device.  The car was totalled and I am told that my injuries are significant and can be a life long problem - what must I do?  The car is a 525i, 2004,  with approximate 60K miles prior to accident.  Please help  rla417@aol.com
