How much of a problem is it to have the vsa system ...

How much of a problem is it to have the vsa system repaired on a 2000 acura rl.  The lights came on again.  This is the 7th time they have come on, the dealer fix the other 6 but it's now out of warrenty.

1999 Acura rl 3.5 transmission parts said to fuzed inside the casing .thats what the shop told me. My problem is without notice the transmission failed. No noise no power lose nothing. Pulled out of parking space started forward and bam high pitch
