Toyota Tercel 1992 Vehicle Speed ControlToyota Tercel 1992 Vehicle Speed Control Review #10312998 TOYOTA TERCEL 1992 car safety problem was reported on June 10, 1996.TOYOTA TERCEL 1992, manufactured by TOYOTA MOTOR NORTH AMERICA, INC. had a problem with VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL . i was driving a 92 toyota tercel. i was going up a steep hill on i-5 in oregon. all of a sudden the gas pedal lost pressure and fell to the floor with the engine at full acceleration. luckily i was going up a hill. i reached down and wiggled the gas pedal and it was totally loose and just dropped to the floor. as i came to the next exit i pulled off, put the car in neutral and turned off the key. i started it back up and the pressure came back to the gas pedal. it seemed to drive fine after that except it made a deeper muffled noise when accelerating. i brought it in to a mechanic and they couldn't find anything wrong. they lubed the accelerator and the noise went away and there were no more problems. *tr.Mileage was 90000 miles. got a 99 solara with abs light on trac off light on any clues to what could be problem,seems like a common problem '88 toyota camry i want to know if my car has the proper hooks required by law for a baby car seat? I have a 2006 Rav 4 also with the same problem. The lights were intermittant and usually if it was cold or if I turned the corner hard the lights would come on. The car has 50,000 miles and I check the brakes pads they have about 5 to 6 K left. I passanger frount seatbelt tightens up during brakeing and then does not loosen up ? passanger is then held to seat and must remove seatbelt to gain freedom . help - my 1999 toyota corolla power windows stop working. i don't want to spend alot of money on this car. any ideas where tostart 2009 ac drain clogged filled car with 1 inch of water. My 2008 Scion has approximately 31000 miles. I started car up and had no Radio. The clock and courtesy dome lights did not work . Just so it looks wet, but it doesn't actually leak (yet) or drip.
