Toyota Sienna Visibility/wiper Safety Report | Dec 28, 2006

Reported on Dec 28, 2006

THE WINDSHIELD DEFROST SYSTEM IS INADEQUATE. WITH THE AUTO SYSTEM ON, AND/OR THE FAN ON MAXIMUM , AND/OR THE WINDSHIELD DEFROST PRESS ON, THE UPPER 1/3 OF THE WINDSHIELD REMAINS FROSTED OVER. THIS SERIOUSLY AFFECTS VISIBILITY AND SAFETY. THE FAN SEEMS TO BE BLOWING HARD, BUT AIR FLOW FROM THE DEFROST VENTS SEEMS WEAK. THE PROBLEM IS MOST APPARENT AT OR NEAR SUB-ZERO OUTSIDE TEMPERATURES.
