Toyota Corolla Matrix 2009 Vehicle Speed ControlToyota Corolla Matrix 2009 Vehicle Speed Control Review #10449313 TOYOTA COROLLA MATRIX 2009 car safety problem was reported on Feb 23, 2012.TOYOTA COROLLA MATRIX 2009, manufactured by TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION had a problem with VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL . while driving on the highway on february 23, 2012, i lost acceleration with no warning whatsoever. no other problems were encountered at that time. i was able to get off the highway and have my car towed to the dealership. their diagnosis was as follows: "connected scan tool and found code p0121 throttle pedal position sensor switch a circuit range performance, performed inspection and found internal malfunction in throttle body sensor, replaced throttle body, retested working normal at this time" i am in possession of the defective throttle body. on february 24, 2012, i called toyota and reported my incident. they provided me with the case number 1202242199. according to toyota, they haven't heard of this issue in the past, but to me it is unreasonable that the throttle body should fail so soon. while my car is nearly 4 years old with just over 74,000 miles, most of those miles are from driving constant highway speeds because i have a 60 mile round trip commute to work. on september 17, 2011, the throttle body was serviced to remove carbon build up. *tr .Mileage was 74523 miles. got a 99 solara with abs light on trac off light on any clues to what could be problem,seems like a common problem '88 toyota camry i want to know if my car has the proper hooks required by law for a baby car seat? I have a 2006 Rav 4 also with the same problem. The lights were intermittant and usually if it was cold or if I turned the corner hard the lights would come on. The car has 50,000 miles and I check the brakes pads they have about 5 to 6 K left. I passanger frount seatbelt tightens up during brakeing and then does not loosen up ? passanger is then held to seat and must remove seatbelt to gain freedom . help - my 1999 toyota corolla power windows stop working. i don't want to spend alot of money on this car. any ideas where tostart 2009 ac drain clogged filled car with 1 inch of water.
