TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHENEVER STRIKING THE GEAR SELECTOR, THE GEAR SHIFTER WOULD ERRONEOUSLY SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL BECAUSE THE GEAR SELECTOR WAS NOT DESIGNED WITH A SWITCH TO ENGAGE. THE FAILURE RECURRED TWICE WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. IN ADDITION, THE SIZE AND LENGTH OF THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE HEAD REST SIGNIFICANTLY OBSTRUCTED THE VISIBILITY OF THE DRIVER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS FUNCTIONING AS DESIGNED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM.
