A recall was issued on July 14, 1969 for S600 DODGE, manufactured by CHRYSLER CORPORATION, in response to SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FOUNDATION COMPONENTS:DRUM problems. . Follwoing is the summary of corrective actions taken:
POSSIBILITY THAT BRAKE SUPPORT BOLTS HAVE BEEN INADEQUATELY TIGHTENED ALLOWINGMOVEMENT BETWEEN BRAKE SUPPORT AND AXLE HOUSING FLANGE.THIS COULD RESULT INSHEARED AT- TACHING BOLTS CAUSING BRAKE FAILURE.(CORRECT BY INSPECTING ANDREPLAC- ING BOLTS WHEN NECESSARY AND TORQUE PROPERLY.)
