A recall was issued on Aug 05, 1991 for OMNI DODGE, manufactured by CHRYSLER CORPORATION, in response to FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM problems. PRESSURE REGULATOR INSTALLED IN THE FUEL SUPPLY PLUMBING SYSTEM LEAKS FUEL INTO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.FUEL LEAKS CAN RESULT IN A FIRE WHEN NEAR A SOURCE OFIGNITION.. Follwoing is the summary of corrective actions taken: THE FUEL SUPPLY PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY WILL BE REPLACED WITH A NEW ASSEMBLY TO ENSURE INTEGRITY OF THE FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM.
