A recall was issued on Jan 23, 1967 for K10 CHEVROLET, manufactured by GENERAL MOTORS CORP., in response to SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FOUNDATION COMPONENTS:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS problems. . Follwoing is the summary of corrective actions taken:
POSSIBLE INCORRECT ROUTING OF BRAKE PIPES.IN THE EVENT THE REAR BRAKE SYSTEM SHOULD CEASE TO FUNCTION, THE INCORRECT ROUTING COULD REDUCE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PARTIAL BRAKING PERFORMANCE IN THE DUAL BRAKE SYSTEM.(INSPECT AND RE-ROUTE BRAKE PIPES AS NECESSARY.)
