A recall was issued on Nov 02, 1967 for DODGE DODGE, manufactured by CHRYSLER CORPORATION, in response to VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL problems. . Follwoing is the summary of corrective actions taken:
POSSIBLE CRACKED SECONDARY LOCKOUT TAB ON THE CARBURETOR FAST IDLE CAM.IF THE TAB BREAKS OFF, THE FAST IDLE CAM CAN ROTATE UPWARDS AND GO OVER CENTER WHEN THE CHOKE SNAPS SHUT ON A COLD START.IN THIS POSITION, THE THROTTLE CAN WEDGE AGAINST THE CAM AND HOLD THE THROTTLE OPEN.(INSPECT THE CARBURETOR AND REPLACE THE FAST IDLE CAM IF NECES- SARY.)
