A recall was issued on Oct 02, 1969 for CORONA TOYOTA, manufactured by TOYOTA MOTOR CO., LTD., in response to SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FOUNDATION COMPONENTS:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS problems. . Follwoing is the summary of corrective actions taken:
POSSIBILITY THAT BRAKE TUBES COATED WITH 'SOLDER' MAY, UNDER ADVERSE WEATHERAND ROAD CONDITIONS, CORRODE AND CAUSE BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE AND SUBSEQUENT BRAKEFAILURE.(CORRECT BY REPLACING BRAKE TUBES WITH ZINC COATED TUBES.)
