Pontiac Vibe Visibility Power Window Devices And Controls Safety Report | June 23, 2008
Reported on June 23, 2008
WINDOW ON PONTIAC VIBE OPENED AND WOULD NOT CLOSE. TOOK IMMEDIATELY TO THE DEALER WITH THE RECALL LETTER STATING THE BOLTS WOULD COME LOSE AND THE WINDOW WOULD COME OFF THE REGULATOR AND COULD SHATTER. THE WINDOW CAME OFF THE REGULATOR BUT DIDN'T SHATTER. THEY TOLD ME THE TRACK WAS DAMAGED AND IT WOULD COST ME ALMOST $600. TO FIX. GM ARGUED THAT BECAUSE IT DIDN'T BREAK HOW IT WAS EXPECTED, IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE RECALL. *TR | |
