TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 PONTIAC GTO. EVER SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED THREE WEEKS AGO, THE FRONT STRUTS HAVE BEEN STRIKING THE INSIDE OF THE TIRES. AS A RESULT, THE SIDEWALLS HAVE BECOME WORN. THE DEALER COULD NOT FIND ANY FAILURES BECAUSE NEW TIRES HAD JUST BEEN PLACED ON THE VEHICLE. THROUGH RESEARCH ON THE NHTSA WEBSITE, THE CONTACT HAS FOUND COMPLAINTS AND INVESTIGATIONS FOR THIS SAME FAILURE, AND BELIEVES A RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 18,000.
