Pontiac Gto Suspension Front Safety Report | Jan 17, 2005

Reported on Jan 17, 2005

I HAVE HAD TIRE RUBBING ISSUES WITH MY CAR SINCE THE DAY I BOUGHT. IT IS DUE TO A SUSPENSION PROBLEM WITH THE CAR. I HAVE HAD COUNTLESS ALIGNMENTS PERFORMED TO THE CAR. PONTIAC'S SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM WAS TO ADJUST THE CAMBER TO THE POSITIVE SIDE OF THE ADJUSTMENT. HOWEVER, THIS ONLY PATCHES THE PROBLEM. I HAD TO REPLACE MY FACTORY TIRES AT 12K MILES BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM. WHEN PONTIAC NOTICED MY NEW TIRES THEY TRY TO SAY IT WAS MY NEW TIRES THAT WAS THE PROBLEM NOT THE CAR. NOW BECAUSE OF THE ALIGNMENT MY TIRES ARE WEARING ABNORMALLY AND I HAVE ALREADY HAD TO REPLACE ONE OF THESE TIRES.
