Pontiac Gto Suspension Front Macpherson Strut Safety Report | Feb 01, 2006

Reported on Feb 01, 2006

I NOTICED UNUSUAL WEAR ON THE PASSENGER FRONT TIRE, INSIDE EDGE. EVIDENTLY THE FACTORY STRUTS RUB ON THE INSIDE EDGE OF THE TIRE, EVENTUALLY CAUSING FAILURE OF THE TIRES. TOOK THE CARE TO ALAN YOUNG PONTIAC IN NORTH RICHLAND HILLS. A SERVICE WRITER AND AN INDIVIDUAL FROM THE PARTS DEPARTMENT BOTH LOOKED AT THE WEAR AND STATED THAT IT WAS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE 2004 PONTIAC GTO DUE TO DESIGN PROBLEMS. THEY STATED THERE WAS NO RECOURSE THROUGH GM. *NM
