DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SUBSTANCE IN THE ELECTROCROMATIC REAR VIEW MIRROR HAD BROKEN DOWN WHICH CAUSED A DUPLICATE VIEW OF THE OBJECT BEING VIEWED. THE IMAGE IN THE MIRROR IS DISTORTED, AND IS WORSE WHEN DRIVEN AT NIGHT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED ON 07/17/06 AND DETERMINED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED TO BROUGHT TO A SERVICE DEALERSHIP. THE SERVICE DEALER WAS CONTACTED ON 07/17/06 AND DETERMINED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED TO INSPECTED BY A SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE AT A DEALERSHIP. ON 07/19/06, THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY THE DEALERSHIP AND DETERMINED THAT THE PROBLEM COULD NOT FIXED, BUT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED WITH A NEW REAR VIEW MIRROR. MIRROR WAS ORDERED ON 07/21/06 AND WILL BE REPAIRED BY THE OWNER.
