WE TURNED OUT A DRIVEWAY, TURNED TO AVOID A COLLISION AND DEFLECTED OFF THE CURB. DRIVE ANOTHER 6 BLOCKS AND REALIZED TIRE DIDN'T HAVE AIR. RIM WAS BROKE AND TIRE DEFLATED. UPON REPAIR WAS TOLD BEARING MAY BE DAMAGED. WE DIDN'T RUN OVER THE CURB AND ONLY RUBBED AGAINST IT WHICH BROKE THE ALUMIUM RIM WHICH DEFLATED THE TIRE AND NOW HAVE A BAD BEARING.IN MY 30 YEARS OF DRIVING I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCE THIS AND I HAVE HIT A FEW CURBS IN MY TIME. *AK | |
