Pontiac Grand Prix Steering Rack And Pinion Safety Report | Apr 07, 2002

Reported on Apr 07, 2002

WHEN TURNING TO THE LEFT, THE STEERING WHEEL STIFFENS/LOCKS INTO A CERTAIN POSTION. THIS USUALLY HAPPENS AT LOW SPEEDS. I FEEL THAT THIS PRESENTS A SAFETY HAZARD DUE TO THE FACT THAT I CANT COMPLETE A TURN IN THE MANNER I NEED. THIS HAS BEEN A NOTED PROBLEM IN THE '97 TO '99 MODEL YEAR GRAND PRIX.*AK
