2006 PONTIAC GXP, DECEMBER 2013 TRANSMISSION STARTING SLIPPING ON INTERSTATE NEAR CHARLOTTE NORTH CAROLINA. CAR TRANSMISSION THEN COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING, NO FORWARD OR REVERSE. CAR HAS 86,000 MILES ON ODOMETER. VEHICLES TOWED TO VIRGINIA. HAD VEHICLE TRANSMISSION CHECKED BY GM AND PRIVATE AUTO SHOP, NO CODES FOUND, BOTH SAID TRANS GOT HOT AND BURNED UP. NO LOCAL TRANS SHOPS WILL REBUILD THE TRANSMISSION DUE TO REPEAT FAILURES.
