Pontiac Grand Prix Power Train Safety Report | Feb 01, 2012
Reported on Feb 01, 2012
I HAVE A 2006 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GXP, I HAVE HAD ALL THE MAINTENANCE DONE ON THIS CAR SINCE I OWNED IT. THE TRANSMISSION WENT OUT ON THIS CAR AT 80,000 MILES AND FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN READING THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM WITH ALL THE GXP'S THAT HAVE COMEOUT AND GM IS NOT WILLING TO RECALL THIS PROBLEM OR EVEN FIX THE PROBLEM THEY KNOW ABOUT. GM SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND FIX THIS FOR EACH CUSTOMER. I HAVE SEEN WHERE PEOPLE HAVE BOUGHT THE CAR AND AT 39000 MILES THE TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPING. THIS IS VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE BY GM AND THEY SHOULD HAVE TO HAVE ALL THE GXP MODELS RECALLED AND THE TRANSMISSIONS REPLACED. THANK YOU *TR | |
