TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX. WHILE STOPPED AT A LIGHT, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE. THE FAILURE RECURED INTERMITTENTLY. IN ADDITION, THE SPEEDOMETER WOULD NOT READ THE ACCURATE SPEED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THE FAILURE PERSISTED AFTER THE REPAIR. THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED THREE DIFFERENT TIMES BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000.
