Pontiac Grand Prix Exterior Lighting Headlights Safety Report | May 20, 2002
Reported on May 20, 2002
THE FIRST HEADLIGHT COVER FELL OFF AT 42000 MILES DURING A RAINSTORM WHICH BLEW OUT THE LIGHT. THIS WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND WAS REPLACED. HOWEVER RECENTLY THE OTHER SIDE HEADLIGHT COVER FELL OFF WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT AND BLEW THE LIGHT OUT. IT IS A SAFETY CONCERN IF BOTH LIGHTS WERE TO GO OUT SIMULTANEOUSLY. THIS IS AN OBVIOUS DEFECT IN THE GLUE.*AK | |
