Pontiac Grand Prix Exterior Lighting Headlights Safety Report | Dec 24, 1998

Reported on Dec 24, 1998

PASSENGER SIDE HEAD LAMP LENSE CAME OFF WHILE DRIVING. I'VE NOTED THAT SEVERAL OTHER GRAND PRIX OWNERS HAVE COMPLAINED OF THIS DEFECT. THE DRIVER'S SIDE HEAD LAMP COVER IS ALSO DEFECTIVE BUT HAS REMAINED IN PLACE. IT APPEARS THAT A POOR SEAL/GLUE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS FAILURE. THE PRODUCE WAS $210.00 TO REPLACE WITH OWNER PROVIDING LABOR. PONTIAC DENIES KNOWLEDGE OF FAILURES OR DEFECTS. *AK
