Pontiac Grand Prix Engine And Engine Cooling Engine Gasoline Safety Report | Jan 21, 2008
Reported on Jan 21, 2008
I WAS DRIVING AND MY ENGINE CAUGHT ON FIRE. I WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE AND PUT OUT FIRE. INSURANCE COMPANY STATES ENGINE FIRES WAS COVERED UNDER MY INSURANCE, BUT ONLY CORRECTED WHAT MELTED(ENGINE COVER, OIL FILLER/CAP, GASKET COVER, PLUGS AND WIRING). I STILL DO NOT HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT STARTED THE FIRE OR WHETHER OR NOT THE FIRE WILL HAPPEN AGAIN. MY ENGINE IS STALLING AND IT STILL SMELL LIKE SOMETHING IS BURNING. *TR | |
