Pontiac Grand Am Service Brakes, Hydraulic Antilock Safety Report | Sept 14, 2000
Reported on Sept 14, 2000
REPLACED BRAKES MYSELF BECAUSE IT WASN'T COVERED UNDER WARRANTY, HAD CAR IN TO BE SERVICE AND WAS TOLD BRAKE PADS WERE DEFECTIVE. BUT BECAUSE I HAD REPLACE THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I CALLED PONTIAC RECENTLY BECAUSE ANOTHER GRAND AM OWNER TOLD ME THAT WAS NOT TRUE. A WOMAN TOOK MY COMPLAINT SHE DIDN'T THINK THAT WAS RIGHT BUT AFTER TALKING TO THE DEALERSHIP SAID THAT WAS CORRECT. I SAID I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR A DEFECT ON A NEW CAR. I HAVE GOTTEN VERY BAD SERVICE FROM THE DEALERSHIP. AND THE BRAKES ARE BAD AGAIN AFTER ONLY 18,000 MILES THIS TIME.*AK | |
