BRAKES BEING A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE SHOULD LAST MORE THAN A YEAR OND 10,000 MILES!!!! THE VEHICLE HAS ONLY 42,000 MILES WITH 2 BRAKE PROBLEMS AND IT APPEARS TO BE A -COMMON- (AS TOLD TO US BY THE SERVICE MANAGER AT OUR LOCAL PONTIAC DEALER) PROBLEM ESPECIALLY WITH '99 GRAND AM'S PLEASE RESPOND WITH FEEDBACK AS MY PREGNANT WIFE IS THE DRIVER OF THIS CAR AND HAS LUCKILLY NOT YET BEEN HURT. *AK
