TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 PONTIAC GRAND AM. THE CONTACT STATED THAT BOTH REAR LATCH SYSTEMS FAILED IN THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE PREVENTED A CHILD SAFETY SEAT FROM BEING SECURED WITH THE LATCH BELT SYSTEM. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS RELATED TO THE LATCH SYSTEM, WHICH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED OF THE SAFETY RISK INVOLVED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 110,000. | |
